چکیده
Magneto-rheological dampers (MR-Dampers) are increasingly being used in construction applications to reduce the dynamic response of structures seismic activities or severe wind loading. Sensors attached structure will signal computer supply with an electric charge that transfers MR fluid a near-solid material different physical and mechanical properties (viscoelastic behavior). Control algorithms govern conversion, which controls behavior damper performance under loading event. The successful optimization control parameters minimizes overall structural forces. main objective this research is change output specific floors within building subjected excitation by optimizing MR-Damper impact floor number building. adjustment attain was validated multiple case studies throughout research. implementation outcome result optimized MR-damper design meet performance-based criteria projects.

Magneto-Rheological Damper Modelling
A comparative analysis of different models of a Magneto-Rheological (MR) damper was done. Three models were tested: a non-linear ARX, a semi-phenomenological and a phenomenological. Although the non-linear ARX model shown the best result, this is a black-box model with limited use. However, the Semi-Phenomenological model represented an excellent option considering the physical meaning of its p...

15 صفحه اولDYNAMIC PERFORMANCE EVALIATION OF 200 kN MAGNETO - RHEOLOGICAL DAMPER
Magneto-rheological damper (MR damper) has been expected to control the response of civil and building structures in recent years, because of its large force capacity and controllable force characteristics. Recent study is to the application of controllable dampers for reducing earthquake response of buildings and/or wind induced sway. The dynamic characteristics of the MR damper have to be cla...
متن کاملextremal region detection guided by maxima of gradient magnitude
a problem of computer vision applications is to detect regions of interest under dif- ferent imaging conditions. the state-of-the-art maximally stable extremal regions (mser) detects affine covariant regions by applying all possible thresholds on the input image, and through three main steps including: 1) making a component tree of extremal regions’ evolution (enumeration), 2) obtaining region ...
Development of a Semi-active Car Suspension Control System Using Magneto-rheological Damper Model
In this paper, the development of a semiactive suspension control of quarter car model using fuzzy-based controller has been done. The quarter car model to be used here can be described as a nonlinear two degrees of freedom system which is subject to excitation from different road profile. The semi-active control is designed as the fuzzy control inferred by using two single input rule fuzzy mod...
